High performance as the name suggests is all about getting results in the competitive arena of swimming. Swimmers are in this program because they wish to compete at state level or higher. Swimmers in this program sign individual working contracts which contain information about training attendance, meet schedules, training requirements, and anything else that commits the swimmer to reaching their goals. This squad stands for commitment, perseverance, and courage. While HPS is results orientated, the overriding goals of fun, team work, and enjoyment of swimming still apply. This program is about swimmers maintaining a balanced lifestyle. School work takes a very high priority. Maintaining grades and attitude are school are just as important as the swimming.
